If you’re anything like me, you probably follow Walt Disney World news almost daily. Not because you’re there all the time but because you wish you were. And every now and then, Disney releases something that makes that distance feel even bigger. This week, that “something” is the brand-new Winnie the Pooh popcorn bucket that just arrived at Walt Disney World.
And honestly? I want one. Badly.
Every visit I collect at least one new popcorn bucket but I have been known to come home with 3!! It’s one of those pieces of Disney park merchandise that’s just ridiculously charming. The kind of thing you see and instantly think, Yep… that’s coming home with me.

The bucket even opens in the back of the Pooh figure to hold your popcorn (or whatever snack you decide to stash in there), and it comes with a themed strap featuring Pooh and Piglet egg hunting.
Of course, the biggest issue is that I’m currently nowhere near Walt Disney World. Meanwhile I’m sitting at home scrolling through photos thinking, If only I were there right now.
Part of the appeal is that Disney popcorn buckets have become collectible over the years. Some are themed to rides, others to characters, and many are released only for limited seasons or events.
This Pooh and Piglet version feels like one of those buckets people will remember – its cute, interactive, and tied to the spring season at the parks. And if you’re a fan of Winnie the Pooh, it’s even harder to resist. There’s something timeless about those characters that just fits perfectly in Disney parks.
For now, I’ll have to enjoy seeing photos from people lucky enough to grab one in the parks. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned from being a Disney fan, it’s if you keep visiting Walt Disney World long enough, eventually you’ll get your chance.
So maybe one day I’ll be walking through EPCOT and finally get to carry one of these little pieces of Disney magic home myself.
Until then… I’ll just keep wishing.
